John ‘Stephen’ Goodman is an American entertainer (actor). He is best known for his performance as Dan Connor on the really popular sitcom of ABC TV named Roseanne (1988-1997). He was nominated for numerous Emmys for the show Roseanne. John was born on the 20th of June, 1952 in Affton, Missouri, United States of America (USA). He was born to Leslie Francis Goodman and Virginia Roos Loosmore. His father worked as a postal worker and his mother worked as a waitress at a restaurant named Jack and Phil’s Bar-B-Que, a retail store worker, and also did laundry. He grew up with a younger sister and older brother named Elisabeth and Leslie respectively. His father died of a heart attack when he was just two years old.

John says that he had a rough childhood as his father died when he was very young and he also used to get bullied.
