Lala Anthony stands at a height of 5’6 without heels. Even with stilettos, her son, Kiyan Anthony, is taller than his mom!

Fans noticed Kiyan’s height in pictures that the mother-son duo took at the amfAR Gala 2020 Benefit For AIDS Research event. Kiyan stood a few inches over his mom even as she wore high heels on the red carpet.

“He’s getting so tall,” Emily Bustamante wrote in response to seeing the candid of Kiyan and La La. “I was going to say the same thing,” New York event planner Alicia Mae agreed. “Wow, he’s tall now,” she exclaimed. “I feel like an aunt that says, ‘Look at you, honey.'”

It is hard to believe that Kiyan Anthony has grown so much. Some may remember when the youngster addressed the public to celebrate his fifth birthday several years ago. Kiyan was the little one who was too irresistibly cute to pass up on your Facebook video feed. Now, the 12-year-old is getting life lectures from his mom and dad, which are meant to carry him into the adult years.

“I worry because I don’t want him to keep everything inside,” La La Anthony said during a recent interview with InStyle magazine. The celebrity mom admitted that her son is a pretty shy, which sometimes causes her to have some concern.

“I want him to feel like he can talk to us about everything,” La La shared. “I also want him to be careful because some kids want to be his friend for the wrong reasons. We’ve had to make him understand that, which has been interesting.
