Tragedy in Ceará, Brazil, where a 39 year old man has lost his life after falling from a zip line. The most shocking thing about what happened is that he was actually recording the moment he fell. What's more his wife, who had used the zip line moments before, was also recording him from the other end.

The whole structure suddenly collapsed, with the man halfway along tje zip line. Although he didn't die on the spot, he ended up passing away on the way to the hospital.

The victim was on vacation and together with his wife when they decided to ride the zip line across the sand dunes. At first he can be seen smiling, shouting and filming the scene, until the structure gives way and his camera starts to spin wildly. His girlfriend had to watch the horrific moment her husband fell, eventually to his death.

Company sued for gross negligence

The family has denounced what happened, accusing the outdoor company of gross negligence. "They were made of wood and were not well buried. Only at a superficial level of the sand. Therefore, they did not provide the necessary firmness for those who used the ride", explained his lawyer.
