Mandy Rain is an American singer, songwriter, and dancer, who became publicly known as part of a music group School Gyrls formed by Nick Cannon in 2008. The group fell apart in 2011, and Mandy Rain went on to pursue her solo career. Only a year later, in 2011, Empire Distribution record label signed Mandy, and her debut single, Boogie, was released. After a positive reaction of the audience, her solo career has gotten more successful, and on January 28, 2014, she self-released a single, Riot. The single would later be included on her extended play (EP) album, also titled Riot, released on January 7, 2015. Her music genre changed during her career, from pop and R&B as part of a group, to modernized boogie in her singles.
